Premier Organic Farms Awards Contract for Organic Tilapia Expansion Project

DALLAS, Aug 14, 2006 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Premier Organic Farms Group, Inc. (OTC Pink Sheets: POFG):
The Board of Directors of Premier Organics Farms Corporation today announced that Opposing Flows Technologies (http://www.opposingflowstechnologies.com ), has been awarded the contract for tilapia fish tanks for the Abbeville, LA expansion project. Each tank will be 17.5 ft x 160 ft (approx. 75,000 gallons), and is expected to produce 120,000 lbs. of fish per year when in full production. The contract calls for the delivery of 120 fish growing tanks over the next 18 months.

Opposing Flows Technologies was selected for the project because of its unique patented technology which creates a continual current in the culture tank causing the fish to align themselves in the current creating a constant upstream swimming environment for the fish.

The Opposing Flows system selected for the project utilizes air to circulate water to the culture tank from the clarifier, and is designed to create "opposing flows" of water with compressed air introduced at the base of each side of the tank. As the air rises throughout the water it not only provides oxygen, but also creates two opposing circulating flows. This circular pattern also enables solids to be gently drawn into the outflow ports located at the bottom of both sides of the tank and passed through, intact to the clarifier. Oxygen is injected into the system at three points maintaining an oxygen rich environment for rapid fish growth.
